sturgeon is the name of the full moon that illuminates august who embodies the themes of yearning freedom. the moon will transit into a direct opposition with the sun with the earth separating these celestial bodies on august 3rd (11°46’ aquarius) 🌙✨🕊⁣⁣

full moons are recognised as symbols of celebration in which our emotions run high. but in fixed, air aquarius, we’re objective, structured and clear in our ideas. these energies do not stand alone this month and are stimulated by the looming presence of uranus in taurus who has formed tight squares with both the sun and the moon. this intensifies the unexpected nature of full moon energy and leaves us susceptible to unpredictable changes that we find difficult and unsettling rather than beneficial.⁣⁣

as the waxing moon transits virgo (currently passing 15°08’), we’re surrounded by energies that may leave us feeling a little insecure, critical and uncertain. vibrant leo demands that we take charge and own who we are with pride. however, despite the external confident facade, leo has a string of sensitivity to him. ⁣

without external validation and the confirmation that he is SEEN, leo often struggles to accept himself for all that he is. a bold exterior, and flamboyant nature is how he ensures that there’s always a light shining on him. but what happens behind closed doors or in our late night thoughts when there is no spotlight to cast a golden aura around us?⁣
